Main Sewer Line Repairs

It's best to do a drain cleaning first to see if the sewer line is just clogged. If that doesn't work, use a camera to check if the pipes are cracked, broken, bellying or have extensive roots in it. Doing this can save you a lot of money!

Common signs to watch for include but not limited to: slow draining, bad sewage smells, your water bill spiking, your yard looking soggy, constant gurgling from the pipes, etc.

Sewer Line 101

  1. Do a drain cleaning first and foremost
  2. Then a camera inspection
  3. If needed then get a spot or full replacement of your sewer line.

Sidenote

Some companies will suggest trenchless pipe relining. We do not do offer pipe liners because it costs similar rates but doesn’t last as long, you need very ideal conditions for it to work correctly and last 5-10 years if that, doesn’t solve bellying issues if your pipes foundation is already unstable, etc. Call us if you like a one pager of the pros and cons for going this route to make the best decision for your home.

Solutions

Spot Repair

This is usually feasible for minor repairs and if the size of the damaged area is a small section.

Full Replacement

If the damage-such as cracks, misalignment, root intrusion, broken pipes, or bellying—is severe or widespread, it’s best to replace the entire line.
